Cori's Wedding

We had such a wonderful time at Cori and Charlie's wedding in Florida. She was a beautiful bride and everything about the wedding was perfect. I had a lot of fun staying up all night drinking wine in the hotel lobby with my Mom and Aunt Terri and on the wedding night we danced the night away. One 2012 wedding down and 4 more to go!

New Year's Eve

On New Year's Eve we had a fun night out with friends despite being seated an hour after our reservation time. I was actually quite mad and let the manger know it. What is the point of having a reservation if you are going to have to wait an hour to be seated? At least they made up for it with 4 free appetizers, a bottle of champagne, and a champagne toast at midnight for our table. It ended up being fine since we didn't have plans for after dinner anyways and we finished eating just before the ball dropped and we all rang in the new year together. We haven't been in town for New Year's Eve in 4 years so it was really nice to ring in the new year with some of my closest friends.
Cheers

Friends since 6th grade, it's crazy that I have known these girls for 16 years

TGF...Mia 2

Thank Goodness for the Clarisonic Mia 2. The Mia 2 was a great late night buy off QVC :) I should probably title this post TGF QVC because when the stores are closed and you are sick of searching on the web you can always shop on TV. It is an amazing skin cleaner and my skin has never felt so clean as it did the first time I used it and it only takes one minute. I also love that the one I got is purple zebra.

From the web site:
Traditional methods of cleansing don’t get your skin as clean as you’d think. Fortunately, the lead inventor of Sonicare discovered a breakthrough in how we cleanse. Using Sonic Technology, Clarisonic’s patented micro-massage motion works within skin’s natural elasticity to gently remove the impurities traditional methods leave behind- leaving skin softer, smoother and more beautiful.

  • Cleanses 6x better than with your hands alone in just 60 seconds
  • Works with skin, not against it, to gently massage away impurities trapped within pores
  • Prepares skin for better absorption of creams, serums and moisturizers
  • Gentle enough to use 2x a day

Surprise Mom...Happy Birthday!

My Mom's birthday is on New Years Day so I rarely am able to celebrate with her. This year she was turning 50 so I knew I had to plan something big. She has never had a surprise party thrown for her and I love to plan a party so...Surprise Party! My mom always does so much for everyone else I really thought she deserved this party but it was so hard not telling her about all the planning details especially since I talk to her everyday. The party was a big success and she was beyond surprised, I think she was shocked. We had a great turn out and my Aunts and Uncles even drove up from Atlanta. (This post has a lot of pictures and I didn't even use half of them from that night.) Thanks to everyone who helped and for keeping it a SECRET!

To throw my Mom off we told her we wanted to celebrate her Birthday by going to eat a nice dinner together at Porcini's

Visiting Friends and Babies

One of the highlights of our vacation was visiting with all the little ones, some aren't so little anymore though, they grow so fast. I witnessed Jude dancing, Milly and Clarabelle clapping, and had an afternoon of fun with the Durst clan. I miss these little guys so much but maybe we won't live quite so far away for too much longer.

Playing with Jude. He was so cute this night Meagan and I went to dinner and he was dancing to the music but then he threw his nunu in the pond and it became an obsession until they left and drove strait to Walgreens to get a new one.
