Got Bones?

Last Monday I had to make a short trip to Maryland to have our car transfered from our name to Brian's parents name since they bought it. Anyways my favorite part of the whole trip was getting to see my Foster. We miss him so much. I was so glad that he didn't give me the cold shoulder because I was only there for one night. When you leave Foster it usually takes him a few days to warm up to you, but I guess he missed me just as much and couldn't stay away because I got a super cuddle that night. Now that he is living with his Grandparents he is spoiled all the time. He gets a new bone almost every day. So that means that Becky, their other dog, also gets a new bone. Foster's main goal in life is to steal Becky's bones and hide them down the hall and then he guards them. It was so funny to watch. At our house it was a treat for him to have two bones at one time if one was almost gone and he had a new one.

Brooklyn Botanical Gardens

Last week I went to the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens with Wyatt.  (Wyatt is one of the babies I nanny for). It was so nice to see green living plants and flowers especially since we are towards the end of dull winter days.  I can't wait until spring, the official first day is Friday. It has started to warm up a little here and you don't need 20 layers on to go outside.  Most of the exhibits in bloom were inside but they did have a beautiful outdoor Japanese garden and pond with gigantic Coy fish. I also learned a few interesting facts like did you know pepper corns are actually dried berries. And since they are members we will be taking several trips in the spring and summer when everything is in full bloom. Wyatt loves plants and trees and just being outside, and when he is happy it makes for a wonderful day at work.

Slap Happy at 4:00 am

I said that we were out really late this weekend and when we got home on Saturday night at 4:00 am Brian was making me laugh hysterically at everything he did.  I decide to capture him being silly on video.  In the second one this was the cup that my drink came in at the game; we did not have an option it was the only kind of cup you could get and Brian loves it.
P.S. Hope everyone has a Happy Saint Patrick's Day!

Would you like a drink of water?

Ride the Bull

After we went to the Louisville game on Friday, thanks to Megan, we all went out.  It is so much fun when they come to New York because I guess I feel like I am in college again and they are always down to go wherever. First we hung out at the W hotel in Times Square.  The W has a really cool atmosphere and when you walk in the celling looks like a pool of water over your head.  After the W we headed to Johnny Utah's where there was a bull. I knew right when we walked in that I defiantly wanted to ride the bull. It was so much fun but when that thing starts going fast forget it. Hope you enjoy these pictures.

GO CARDS GO!

Congratulations Big East Champs. We had a great a weekend and we were lucky enough to get to go to the Louisville game on Friday and Saturday.  Megan and Lonnie were in-town for the tournament with Megan's work and their group had extra tickets for both games. The games were so much fun and we can't wait for the tournament.  For now I will just post the pictures of the game but later to come there will be pictures of the celebration after. We did not go to bed until 3:00 am on Friday and 4:00 am last night. I am not used to those hours any more.

Our Anniversary

On Wednesday we celebrated our 3 year wedding anniversary. Time really does go by fast when you are having fun. We didn't do anything too fancy on Wednesday because it was a work night and we were both tired. We did go to St. Patrick's Cathedral to get ashes for Ash Wednesday then we ate pizza and watched our wedding video.  So last night we celebrated at Tavern on the Green thanks to the Dursts, Fowlers, Katie, and Luke for their generous gift we saved from Brian's graduation and to both our parents for their nice gifts as well.  It was a beautiful brisk night and we got to eat in the crystal ball room.  The food was so delicious. My steak was so big I could only eat a third of it but Brian finished his and mine. When dinner was over we went out to the court yard, even though it was cold, and danced to Sinatra under the green lit trees. I am so lucky to have such a wonderful relationship with Brian and our life only gets better and better the more time we spend together.
