15 Weeks

How far along: 15weeks 1 day
Total Weight Gain: 6 lbs, same as last week and my bump looks the same so Brian decided to be in the pic this week
Maternity Clothes: a few tops and leggings
Stretch Marks: no
Sleep: great as long as I have at least 3 pillows and the room is super cold
Best Moment of the week: Our ultrasound on Friday! Both babies looked healthy and weighed 4 oz & heart rates of 156 bpm. I aslo had an awesome dinner on my birthday.
Movement: none
Food Cravings: Lemonade, Pasta and Sauce, Salads
Symptoms: Still nauseous and awful headaches
Wedding Rings on or off: on
Looking Forward to: A visit from Brian’s Mom next weekend
Gender: We were supposed to find out on Friday but Baby B was being stubborn again and we couldn’t get a clear picture. We know A is a Boy and from what we could see of B they are about 80% sure she is a girl. I have another ultrasound on Friday so hopefully we will confirm then, so stay tuned.
Happy or Moody: Happy :)

14 Weeks

I have gotten a lot of ideas on fun ways to document my pregnancy and I really like this format of answering quick one liner questions so I think I will post this every week with my chalkboard picture.

Maternity Clothes: one or two tops but no pants yet

Best Moment of the week: Sleeping in on Sunday and cuddling with my hubby
Movement: none
Food Cravings: Lemonade, Soup and Anything Tangy
Symptoms: Still nauseous & constipated, but Zofran is a miracle worker
Wedding Rings on or off: on
Looking Forward to: a surprise birthday dinner on Wednesday & the gender reveal ultrasound on Friday
Gender Prediction: 2 boys
Happy or Moody: Depends on whom you ask :)
I also spend LOTS of time on Pintrest, Blogs, Etsy and the Web looking at cute baby inspiration. This week I made a collage of all the cute Nursery Art I love.

Labor Day Beach Weekend

For Labor Day weekend our friend Lauren had us out to her mom's beach house in Conneticut. It was an awesome weekend and we played many many games (Taboo, Flip-Cup, Wiffle Ball, Kan Jam, Quarters) cooked out, had a lobster bake, soaked up the sun, got mani/pedis, and iced everyone in the house except me of course. There are so many icing photos that I have to do a separate blog post.
The beautiful covered porch over looking the beach
My sister takes all these cool pictures with special effects on instagram.
I'm just sitting here enjoying the peaceful view.
Brian & Lauren playing Kan Jam, If you do not know what this game is it is so much fun.
It is very similar to cornhole but with frisbees.

Me bating in wiffle ball. I really impressed Brian he didn't realize how great of a wiffle ball player I am and how competitive I can be. Our team won which was mostly girls and I never struck out.

Night One Dinner
Night two dinner Lobster Bake on the beach. Lauren taught us all how to tackle the entire lobster. There is a big debate on if the tail meat or the claw meat is better. I like the claws but Brian likes the tail, what do you like?

Late Night Flip Cup, I played with water :)
Even later after our game the guys went next door and joined the neighbors flip cup game who were all writers for the Letterman Show. One of the guys looked just like Will Ferrell and they kept tring to get him to say movie quotes like "Frank the Tank" and the guy was getting really mad but he really did look exactly like him.

Sisters hanging on the beach
Lauren wanted to make a pyramid before we left :) It was the perfect weekend thanks Lauren!

Expecting...

Yes, Brian and I are very happy to announce that we are expecting our first babies in March. I have been a little MIA on the blog because I usually get things like this done at night but because I'm either to exhausted or sick feeling I haven't been keeping up.  Most of you who read this probably already know our exciting news but I don't want to forget to document anything along the way.  After trying to expand our family for so long we feel extra blessed with our two little miracles.  Thank you to our friends and family who have shown a tremendous amount of love and support.
Positive!
I wanted to start tracking my belly growth early so here are a few early on pictures that really show no change.
5 Weeks
 7 Weeks
 Our 1st ultrasound at 7weeks
It's TWINS!
 10 Weeks
 Baby A @11 weeks
Baby B sorry my phone wouldn't focus so it's kind of blurry
I love the chalkboard idea that I've seen on a few other blogs so I made my own. I wish it was a little bigger but I like how it turned out for the most part.

Brian's Birthday

This year Brian turned the big 3-0! He is no longer in his 20's but you would never tell by looking at him :) On his actual birthday I had planned to take him to his favorite pizza place, John's, for dinner but he ended up having 5 surgeries that day and barely made it home to blow out his candles before midnight. He was happy though with his ice cream cake and presents. He said when he woke up he did feel older that day and had sore muscles and his back hurt and he was walking with a limp. What a goofball.

Later in the month we celebrated with friends at a restaurant with 14 people. Its hard to find places in New York that can accommodate parties that big but it was a great night and 4 people at the table had turned 30 in August.

Louisville Trip

During the rest of my time in Louisville I was able to have a day with each of my friends and family.
Park Outing with the Durst Clan

Nikki and I had some nice catching up time and even snuck out one night to grab a coffee without the babies. I miss just hanging out with my girlfriends and not having to always be glued to my phone to chat with them.
Lunch with Megan, Elizabeth, and Lauren just like back in the day.
Fun filled afternoon with Clarabelle and Milly. This was the second day with their slide and it was awesome for an hour of entertainment. Milly was really giving us a show with her facial expressions. This looks like a dance team face to me.

M & CB both have their own little personalities and it's so cute. M always does her own thing and if CB is crying for a toy that she has she just gives it to her and is like I'll go find something better.
I also had a lot of fun shopping with my Mom and going to dinner with my Mom, Dad, and Meme. I hated to leave but I'm excited to spend a week with most of these people in October for Tiffany's wedding.
