We are moving to the Upper East Side so on Sundays our apt has been having open house. During this time we have to be out of the apartment from 1:00-2:30. Normally this would not be too hard except we have a dog and Brian works a crazy schedule. The first Sunday, thank goodness, it was beautiful outside and we took Foster for a long afternoon in Central Park. But since we thought this may not be the case every Sunday and our new apt. does not allow dogs over 40 lbs. and he really is not a city dog, so Foster is going to live in MD with his grandparents. They are thrilled to have him but we miss him already. We know that Foster does not like to be alone a lot and he loves to run around in the woods and swim in the bay so this is the best thing for him. Now it will actually be a lot easier for us to leave the city and just take the train to go and see him. Foster also had to get a seat belt because he keeps trying to jump into the front seat when he is in the car and then he gets his body stuck half way between the seat. He hated the seat belt and thought the fuzzy padding was a toy to eat but it did the job.
This Sunday's open house was a struggle for Brian and good thing Foster was not here because it was raining. Brian was on call on Saturday and had just gotten home Sunday morning at 10:30 am after working a 27 hour shift. So he slept for two hours then had to get up for open house. We went to Starbucks and Brian swears that there is crack in their coffee because he went from half dead to wired. Hopefully this Sunday will be better and our apt will be rented so we can move.
Rock climbing in the park
This is Foster's favorite toy that he has to bring to bed every night.
