We had such a fun Derby Day with all our friends at the Derby party. Too bad we didn't really win big but it was fun yelling and cheering for all the horses.

My Old Kentucky Home

We arrived in Louisville on Saturday and have been having so much fun since we have been here. It has been great to visit with our friends and family that we miss so much. The weather was beautiful for the early part of the week but now it is a little rainy. Hopefully it will clear up for Oaks and Derby Day. Just in case it does rain and we don't make it to the track we went with my Mom on Tuesday.  First she took us to eat breakfast at Lynn's Paradise Cafe. It was the most delicious breakfast I have had in a long time. We were having a lucky day at the track and walked out ahead, which is always good. Tonight we had a nice dinner with Matt, Nikki, and precious Madalyn. She is such a big girl now and we miss watching her grow. Here are a few pictures from our fun week so far...

Moving on up to the East Side

We have finally moved to the East Side and there will be pictures to come shortly of our new digs. For now I will just show you all the boxes we were living with for a week.

 When you receive our new address cards in the mail notice how cute they are. Our friends, the Dursts, are starting their own stationary company. If you like what you see and need new stationary you should check out their designs, and they can create custom stationary just for you. Here are a few other things they designed for us. 

Das Boot Visit 2

Since Stephen is in town we had to make a trip to Hidelberg to drink from the das boot. Stephen was so happy when he got his boot look at these pictures and see how a das boot can make anyone's day. 

After this happiness Stephen decided to go and buy one of the two liter das boots so he could drink out of it everyday.

Stephen is in town for a few days to hang out. Last night we went to the Yankee's game. It was perfect weather for a game and thank goodness the rain held out. The new stadium was beautiful. My cousin Stephen also got join us since Brian's dad wasn't able to make it. 

More Longboat Vacation

I know we have been back from the beach for about 3 weeks now but I am still thinking of the relaxing sandy beaches and warm weather and I can't wait to go back.  I am going to post the las bunch of pictures of our wonderful vacation, thanks Mom and Dad for taking us.

Vacation & Moving Update

Yes we made it back from vacation a week ago but since then we have been in moving madness. We are so tired that last night after we ordered and cheese pizza we laid down at 8:30 to take a little rest before we started to pack more boxes, but we never got up.  I can't remember the last time I went to bed that early. The big move is on Monday and with Easter tomorrow I am trying to finish up everything today. I am so tired of packing so I decided to blog.  This isn't very productive but I need a break. 

I have yet to share any of pictures from vacation yet. So here are a few. The weather was awesome and it was very hot. Despite applying sunscreen three times the first day I still got burnt. More to come about the trip later.
