Catching Up With Jude

Besides my family the next thing I miss most about living away from home is seeing my friends and their babies grow. This is pretty much the same thing as missing my family especially when it comes to Megan and Jude considering I lived with Megan for somewhere around 6 years. We were lucky to get to see each other more than once this trip. Jude is such a sweet boy and he has the best personality not to mention he is adorable.

Kentucky Derby 137

One of the highlights of our trip was going to the Derby. Thank you to Mr. & Mrs. Schulz for taking us, we had a wonderful time. It was bit chilly but it ended up being a beautiful day.
This picture was at my parent's new house.
They have such a great view.

Meeting Clarabelle & Milly

One of the highlights of our trip was meeting Milly Rose and Clarabelle Holland. They were so tiny and precious and we were so happy to finally meet these two sweet girls. I have never held a baby as small as Clarabelle or Milly. They are such little miracles and I can't wait to watch them grow. Sara and Ryan seemed so natural and they are already pros.

Clarabelle was sleeping most of the time but she got a little mad when she came unswaddled.
Milly was very alert and awake most of the time we were there.

Stella & Dot Launch Party

While I was in Louisville I had my big Stella & Dot Launch party as well as a few others. Nikki was my first gracious host and I'm very thankful that she hosted a party for me. Thanks to all my friends supporting my new business venture.
My Set Up
Yes I did pack all of the jewelry and the display pieces and carried them on the plane with me. It was quite a task but well worth it and I'll be back in July with more beautiful jewels!

Madalyn was so cute trying on all the jewelry.
It was so great to catch up with these girlfriends
I was so busy "selling" at my other party that I only took

Louisville Vacation & Mother's Day

A few weeks ago we went to Louisville for a vacation. I have been so busy since we returned that I have yet to update the blog on how our trip went and everything that has happened since we returned. That's the only thing I don't like about a vacation, it takes me twice as long to get back in the swing of things. I really like to return on a Saturday from a vacation so that Sunday can be devoted to getting your life in order before returning to work on Monday. But since the Derby is on a Saturday we were not able to return until Sunday. The plus side was being able to Spend Mother's day with my mom and see both of my Grandmas. We had a wonderful visit to Louisville and we were able to relax and catch up with several friends and family as well as meet new little family members, but more on that later, I think they deserve a post all their own. Here are a few photos hanging with the fam during the week.

Wedding Weekend

Last weekend before we headed to Louisville for Vacation and Derby we attended one of Brian's co-resident's wedding on Long Island. It was a beautiful and an amazing wedding. Congratulations Kevin and Lauren. We had such a blast and it was a great way to start off our vacation week.

Sweet Ride
Posing on the red carpet. I love my shoes, look close and see the feathers coming off the back, they were so fun.

Happy Easter

We celebrated a wonderful Easter Sunday in Connecticut this year. Nelson's mom adopted us and invited us to celebrate at her house. It was an extra special day because it was also Clementine's third birthday. The church choir was probably the best I have ever heard and the food Shirley prepared was delicious.

Field was so cute teaching the dog how to blow bubbles.
