Hudson can Walk!

Hudson is such a good little walker now. He really started to take off about a month ago and here is an early video of one of his first long step sequences. 

I like to call this video Drunk Hudson 

Sand & Water Table

Hadley and Hudson got a new water and sand table and they love it. Here are some pictures of them playing with it.

Sand is fun but boy is it a mess and they love to eat it. Hudson is the worse about eating it I really don't know why he keeps putting it in his mouth and then it ends up giving him diaper rash :/.

The Ellen Show

One of the other reasons Pat came to visit was to be a big help to me and watch Hadley and Hudson so that I could go to the Ellen Show! My friend Lori had a good friend from collage that came to visit her and was nice enough to include me and invite me to go to Ellen with them. We got to go on a tour of the backlot at the WB and then had VIP tickets to Ellen! It was one of the most memorable things I have done in California this year. 

I was sitting on the isle and I got to dance with Ellen and it was so much fun. We had the cast of Spiderman and they were so entertaining and Ellen gave away $100 Target gift cards, CDs, and water bottles.

The Easter Bunny

While Pat was visiting we decided to take the kids down to Newport Beach's Fashion Island, which is a really nice outdoor mall that overlooks the ocean, and visit the Easter Bunny. I told the photographer to be ready and get pictures quick because I was sure they were going to cry. Well as you can see they surprised me and did the exact opposite. They loved the Easter Bunny and actually cried when we had to leave.

A Visit from Grandmom

Grandmom came to visit for 10 days at the beginning of April. We love having Grandmom around and I think she was glad to be in the nice sunny weather with her favorite grandbabies. We were able to ride the train at the farmers market one of H&H's favorite activities. Thanks for visiting and being such a big help we love you Grandmom!

Palm Springs

Towards the end of March I discovered the wonderful world of Palm Springs or as the locals would say "the desert." Since Brian had a boys weekend in Arizona during spring training my girlfriends and I planned a girls getaway to Palm Springs. It was very nice and relaxing. We enjoyed pool time, spa treatments, dinner, wine, and outlet shopping! I loved the desert so much that I suggested to Brian that we go back the following weekend with the kids and his Mom for a mini vacation. We stayed at an amazing kid friendly resort with a water park and every amenity to make it enjoyable with kids you could ask for. This resort was much different than the one I had stayed at the previous weekend but equally as fun in very different ways. I can see us spending many long weekends in the desert in the future :)
