Louisville Trip Part 2

On Thanksgiving night my mom and decided not to sleep because we didn't think we would ever wake up to shopping so we headed out at 3am to hit the stores. This is the first time we have ever gone super early morning shopping on Black Friday and it was a interesting experience, but I don't think I will ever do that again. On the plus side we did get all the door buster sales we were after and we enjoyed watching all the crazy shoppers. I was also able to catch up with several of my friends and some of their little ones. I can't wait to see everyone again in a short 2 weeks.

Hayden and Madalyn are so sweet good little kids. I loved cuddling with Hayden he would just climb right up in my lap and sit there. Madalyn is so smart and she speaks so well, I remember when she was so little and now she's such a big girl.

It was great to go out with all my girl friends and catch up.

Thanksgiving Louisville Trip

I had a wonderful time in Louisville last week. My mom was shocked that I was there and it was so much fun to surprise her. It was great to see all my family and friends and I can't wait to see everyone again in three weeks.

Happy Thanksgiving

We would like to wish all of our friends and family a very Happy Thanksgiving. I have been extra home sick lately with Brian gone so I decided to go to Louisville for the holiday. I'm so excited because my mom had no idea I'm coming and it's going to be such a great surprise. This is the first Thanksgiving in seven years that Brian and I have been apart, but at least we will each be with our immediate families. I hope everyone else has a blessed Thanksgiving.

Schulz Update

So Brian is still in Baltimore and we haven't seen much of each other. We spent about 6 hours together in three weeks and he still won't be back for two more weeks. But I'm glad it's almost over. There hasn't been much to blog about lately but I am super excited for the holiday season, it's for sure our favorite time of the year for many reasons. Shopping, decorating, holiday music, parties, cookies, friends, family, snow, and let's not forget presents. My tree has been up for two weeks so I am definitely ready for December. We actually have a very busy December so I'm sure there will be many exciting posts with pics this month.

Where is Brian?

In Baltimore. Yep Brian left last week to go to Baltimore for a two month trauma rotation. Despite Brian being gone, this week went by very fast and he came back this weekend because he was off. But he already had to leave again today and won't be back for two weeks. We had a great weekend and enjoyed being outside in the beautiful fall weather. On Sunday we were able to meet up with Jon and Lucy for brunch because they were in town for a work conference. It was a short visit (36 hours) but it was great to see them and have brunch together. Unfortunately we didn't take any pics so I don't have anything to post but we had a great weekend.

Fall Fun and Pumpkin Pick'n

I love this time of year when all the leaves start to change. Autumn is by far the best season for several reasons, I'll list a few of my fave:
Pumpkins: Picking, Painting, Pies, Carving, Decorations
Apple Cider: Cold or Hot or mixed with a little sparkling water
Beautiful Fall Foliage
The 60-70 degree weather
Football, Chili & Beer
My Birthday
Thanksgiving and Black Friday
And the start of the Christmas Season
And there are many more reasons to love this time of year. Really do you think any other season could beat Fall?
We have been enjoying it so far and here are a few pictures of our Fall Fun.

Sorry it's been so long

I've been away from the Blog for a few weeks because our lives have been busy busy as a bee. Nothing much new to report here but we have been working a lot. Between work, the gym, dinner, showering and sleeping we can barely get to bed by 11pm, and then in my few spare hours on the weekend I really don't feel like blogging. But I'm back and I promise to keep ya'll up to date as we enter this holiday season and my favorite time of year. Just catching up on a few old posts that never came to fruition, here are the rest of the pics from my parents visit that I never got around to posting.
One day we enjoyed a relaxing day at the beach
Last beach day of the season Brian wanted to make sure his hair was fierce

We really did have beautiful weather while they were here, enjoying a day at the Boat House

The last night we went to a nice dinner and celebrated my upcoming birthday.
We had so much fun and I hope they both come back soon and I hope we didn't make my Dad walk too much :)
