Happy Birthday Nikki

After Christmas on the 27th we were able to celebrate Nikki's 30th birthday at Stoney River with friends. It was a great time out and we really miss going out with this group of friends.

TGF...Weddings

I love going to weddings especially when they bring friends and family together that we don't get to see very often. We have 4 wedding on the calendar so far for 2012 and the first one is tomorrow. My cousin Cori is marrying Charlie (love the double C's) in Florida on Saturday so Brian and I will be heading down this weekend. I'll post pics of the big day as soon as we get home.

Christmas Vacation!

We had awesome time visiting our family and frinds in Louisville for Christmas. We decided to drive home and although the trek was long it was worth the $900 we saved from not flying. We spent Christmas Eve at the Schulz house and Christmas Day at my parents. We are very blessed with wonderful, loving, and very generous families.

Ryan's tiny view master ornament. The ornament exchange was the highlight of the night, even the guys played this year, 17 ornaments in all. Lots of stealing and laughing but no tears.

who is Christ the Lord."

We are headed to Louisville for a week and I'll be catching everyone up on our travels sometime in January because belive it or not January is almost as busy as December. We would like to wish all our friends and family a healthy and joyful Christmas and a Happy New Year!

TGF...

Thank Goodness For NY in December. I love NYC in December and it gives our family a reason to come for a visit which makes it even better. My parents and sister came to experience NY during the holidays 2 weekends ago and we had a great time shopping, looking at the holiday windows, seeing the big tree in Rockefeller Center, seeing the Radio City Rockettes, and taking Lindsey out for a belated 21st birthday celebration.

Hanging Out in November

We are already mid way through December and I haven't blogged once, that's how busy I have been. I am actually still trying to catch up on November. Here are a few snap shots from all the fun we had in Nov. Maybe in January I will catch up to December.

Hanging out with the PGY 4s playing a little flip cup

We made it to central par one day in the fall before all the leaves were gone. I love the park when all the leaves are such pretty colors.

Happy Thanksgiving

This year we stayed in New York for Thanksgiving and celebrated with each other. I am very thankful for my wonderful family especially my husband. Brian was on-call all weekend but we still managed to spend some time together. On Thanksgiving night we went to Bar Boloud which is one of Daniel Boloud's restaurants. It was so delicious and the best part was no cooking or cleaning was required. I also had a very productive weekend and I am happy to say all of my holiday shopping is complete and all the gifts are wrapped and under the tree. I also was able to finish putting up the Christmas decorations, thanks to Mr. Schulz bringing them to us from storage, and to a little midnight black Friday shopping at Target to get our tree.

The weekend before Thanksgiving Stephen, Melissa and Andrew came to visit us. We had a good time and tried our best to show Melissa the city in 24hours since she had never been to NYC.

Brunch at Cali Ocho with all you can drink sangria :) Bob and Kristen joined us too.
I love this picture in Central Park of the Brian with his brothers.
You can't tell they are at all related ;)
