Staying in Cali

I am sure most everyone who already reads our blog knows by now that we are going to stay out in California. Brian accepted a position with the group he is doing his fellowship with. It was really an honor to be hired by them because they do not hire people often and it is Brian's dream job. It is the perfect combination of private practice, academics and sports team coverage. He will be working a lot with the Ducks and possibly other professional teams. Since he is going to be mainly based out of Anaheim we are going to make a move to this cute little town called Corona del Mar in Newport Beach. The first time we went to go look at it we knew we wanted to live here. It's reminds me of a little New York neighborhood like the Village or Brooklyn Heights but on the beach. We will be able to walk to everything, shops, restaurants, parks, library, the beach, etc... And be a 5 minute drive to the major mall in Newport and other great Newport attractions. We are very excited about our new neighborhood come this August. We do plan on making a few trips back East every year and we will miss our family and friends immensely but for now this is an amazing opportunity for our family. If anyone ever wants to visit our doors are always open!

Downtown Disney

One weekend in early May we headed down to Anaheim and checked out Downtown Disney. They really loved all the sites and now that we watch a little bit of Mickey Mouse Club House they know who Mickey and Minnie Mouse are and get really excited to see them. I can't wait to take them to Disney Land in the fall. 

We ate at ESPN center which is one of Brian's all time favorite sports bar! H&H were very entertained by the all the big TVs too.

The Rest of April

This is everything I didn't get around to posting individual blogs about during the month of April.

Hudson really loves a good "bar" He says bar, bar, bar over and over when he wants one and sometimes they make a compete mess like pictured here. Hadley isn't that into them but acts like she wants it and then when you hand it to her she throws it on the floor or crumbles it into a million pieces.

Our Easter Day

(I am determined to catch up)

We had such a fun Easter Day. The babies knew what Easter eggs were because we had been practicing so much so they were excited to see eggs all around the house when they woke up. Also they noticed their baskets that the Easter Bunny left.

Next we attempted to attend Mass but Church with these two isn't very easy. They lasted about half way through so then we made our way to this really great restaurant for Brunch.
