Hanging Out

OMG I'm still so behind on my blog, this pics were from like three weeks ago so I barely remember what I was going to say about them. Mostly this is what we have been up to for the month of July: Going out with Brian's co-residents (everyone in all the following pics are residents) every weekend and sleeping in or lounging in the park during the days. I love summer but I'm sad Brian is leaving on Sunday to do a Baltimore rotation for 9 weeks so our summer days together are almost over :(

The Twins

The best part about the Louisville trip was all the precious babies especially my two sweet cousins Milly & Clarabelle or M&CB as Sara calls them. I am so glad I go to hang out with them so much since I won't see them again till Christmas :( They are so much bigger than they were at Derby. They even have little leg rolls, hehe. I only have pics holding M, I guess she likes me better than CB, or maybe it's because we share a perfect middle name. They are both so good but you wouldn't believe the huge sounds (from both ends) that come out of their little bodies. I love watching them grow and I miss you guys. XOXO

Sara has this down to a science can't you tell, it's summer who needs clothes for the car ride home. It doesn't get much better than naked babies on a warm summer night.

Pool Time & Friends

One of the best things about being home on this trip was the relaxing pool time. The pavilion and pool at my parents new house is so nice and it provides a wonderful breeze and made the 95+ degree days bearable.

The last day Whitney and Nikki came to hang at the pool with all their babies. I had a blast playing with each child and it was so nice to see their little personalities.

Caleb is hilarious and very chatty and Madalyn is a girl who knows what she wants. I loved that she wanted me to swim her around the big pool.

Even sleepy Kathryn made it out

The first time I got to meet Kathryn was when we met for brunch at Wild Eggs. Madalyn had just come from ballet class and she was telling me all about it. Madalyn reminds me of her mommy so much and likes to get things done quickly. She made sure our waiter was on top of the order, I wish I had her around at restaurants more often.

Enjoying a dinner with Brian and Elizabeth and my parents at Mitchel's and then desert at the yogurt bar. Brian apparently loves the yogurt place and they go about three times a week. It was good but nothing beats my Pinkberry.

Susan's Wedding

A highlight and the main reason for the Louisville trip was to see Susan get married. She was such a beautiful bride and the wedding had so many wonderful details that I had never seen done before. For example they had a Grater's Ice Cream cart towards the end of the reception, yum black raspberry chip and the ring bearer carried a banner that said "Here Comes the Bride" it was adorable. I love personal touches like that. I'm so glad I was able to enjoy and celebrate her special day.

The downside of the trip was not getting to spend more time with this gal. She was busy with made of honor duties all week and between that and Jude and work we only hung out a the wedding

Another cute touch, Clemson (their Alma Mater) colored poms to cheer them off and they rode away in a bike taxi or as we call them pedi-cabs

Louisville and Stella & Dot

In between the two vacation weeks with the Tebbe's I was able to take a trip home for Susan's wedding, a few Stella & Dot Trunk Shows, and to spend time with a few new babies. Thank you to everyone who hosted, attended, and shopped at my trunk shows. I really appreciate your support and I hope you are loving your new jewels. I love going home and catching up with all my family and friends. I am so lucky to have made it to Louisville three times this year but I'm sad to say I won't be back till Christmas. Remember Brian and I only have a year and 9 months left in NYC so if you want to visit us our door is always open.

4th of July in Fire Island & The Hamptons

Yeah our internet is working again and all of my pictures have been uploaded so here is what we did in July.

For the 4th the Tebbe's invited us to Fire Island, where they rented a house for two weeks but only ended up staying about three days. To make a long story short, that I have told several times over, Clementine had a really bad reaction to several bug bites and it was very uncomfortable for her and a little scary. But in the end she recovered and they were able to salvage the vacation during the second week at a wonderful home in the Hamptons that Nelson's sister invited us to.

At Main Beach it was such a beautiful beach

I love this picture. It really captures how wonderful the feeling of being at the beach is. I'm glad she got better and was able to be a beach baby.
